How did The Worthy Bone journey begin? Tell us more about how you met our forever muse, Rumi.
After years of wanting a puppy, I bought Rumi and picked him up at Newark airport at 9 weeks old. I fell in love with him from the moment I laid eyes on him and we've been inseparable ever since. The Worthy Bone began when I started designing his lifestyle.
What was missing from the "dog world" that inspired your need to start The Worthy Bone for pet parents like you?
At the time the dog industry was oversaturated with random products that claimed to be beneficial for your dogs wellness however it was really hard to find trustworthy dog brands so I found myself doing a lot of research to find quality, practical, or sustainable products.
What are you hoping to re-imagine in this industry?
The way we define a dog's lifestyle. I would like to revolutionize what being a pet parent means to people and how they shop for their furry friends for a more integrated and optimized life.
Who or what are your greatest inspirations/mentors?
Traveling. I love to get lost in other words and cultures and gain a different perspective of an experience I've never lived before. I love how traveling changes/ opens up your mind to deeper thought.
How would you say your background has influenced your vision for The Worthy Bone?
My past in the luxury industry have really shaped my vision for this brand. With these experiences, my eye was trained to be able to see and understand what a true luxury pet products should be.
What has impacted you the most while building The Worthy Bone?
The one thing that I always have in the back of my mind as I am building TWB is the short lifespan that our furry friends have. Because of this, It has really become my mission to ensure that dogs live their best lives every single day.
